Celebrating 20 years of entrepreneurial adventure!
📚 Back in 1999, the dawn of online selling tools sparked my curiosity and imagination. I immersed myself in books such as The Long Tail by Chris Anderson, eager to understand the sales potential of this new technology.
👩💻 In 2004, I took the leap and launched my first online selling presence with a one page profile on Roaring Women, achieving #1 Most Viewed profile and Elite Ambassador status within the year. This early success fueled my determination to harness the power of digital marketing for sales success. I bought my first domain and hosting for a simple HTML based site uploaded from DreamWeaver. It ignited my journey of growth and discovery.
🚀 Embracing WordPress in 2007, my understanding and skills evolved and so did my vision. I ventured into freelance services, leveraging platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube to expand my audience and start the conversation. My focus? Empowering mid-level business professionals to express their expertise and create their personal brand. Optimizing LinkedIn profiles became my forte, along with Email Marketing and Customer Relationship Management software to organize the sales opportunities.
📣 Awards and collaborations with local associations, talk shows and newspapers followed. They all helped me refine my personal brand, define my process and validate the impact of my strategic hybrid approach, blending tired and true sales techniques with online marketing. Soon I was speaking and working internationally, sharing insights and strategies to help others utilize digital marketing tools to accelerate their business growth. The journey led to launching Kickstart Your Company and exciting new ventures like ‘Conversations with Expert Entrepreneurs, If I Had Only Known’, an online tips and tricks show I created to showcase myself and clients along with other members of our thriving community.
📸 Today, my mission is the same: supporting experts over 50. Through strategic coaching and co-creative methodologies, I empower them to leverage their strengths, identify their target market and harness online technology and digital marketing to launch and grow their business online, without feeling ‘salesy’.
💃 I’m still excited about the journey, there’s so much more to explore! I’m transitioning my in person training online to reach the global market at Kickstart Business Academy. I’m learning about ChatGPT and passionate about scaling my Heart Centered Apprentice Certified Kajabi Funnel Specialist opportunities.
